In fulfilling our mission, Danbury Hospital Community Relations works closely with community groups and organizations from around the region.
Our focus is to ensure that Danbury Hospital is a good neighbor, fully committed to the health and wellness of our community not only as a hospital, but as good corporate citizens.
Community Relations Goals
Our goals are to develop and maintain strong relationships with the many communities Danbury Hospital serves, and positively impact the quality of life and health of the residents that live and work in our community.
Education and Prevention
Every day, Danbury Hospital finds new ways to serve our community. We believe that the entire community benefits when the people who live here are physically, mentally and spiritually healthy.
We build partnerships with community members through a wide variety of health and wellness programs. We work with community groups and organizations to bring quality health screenings and educational programs to surrounding neighborhoods, and we believe in helping individuals, especially those at risk, make positive health and wellness choices.
We continue to seek innovative ways to encourage a physically active and healthy lifestyle with regular health screenings.
